From N3 Southbound:

Take the Howick/Tweedie Exit (R107) and turn right back across the highway. After 1km, at the T Junction, turn right onto the R103 towards Lions River. Follow the road for  +/-12km, past the Nelson Mandela Capture site on your right and Thokans Fuel Station on your left. Take the Dargle/Impendle turn to your left. (About 500m before Piggly Wiggly). Follow this road for another +/-12km, past the lions River Polo Club on your right and Il Postino Pizzeria on your left. Take D17 to your right. Ferndene is sign posted here. Follow the dirt road for 2km until the road forks. Take the left fork, D707. Ferndene Farm is the first farm immediately on your right, Farm 8.

From N3 Northbound:
